Yesterday I went to the second biggest complete Textile Archive in Britain and it didn't disappoint. A lovely lady called charlotte took us through the history of The Warner & Sons textile history from its hay day to it decline and sale in the 1990's. The Archive gallery features a permanent display on the history and shows examples of weaving and printed textiles. There are draws with colour charts and thread examples along side original ledgers and pattern examples.

This Archive is well worth a visit and they offer visit packages from £11pp which is great value.
