Malcome Lochhead Embroidery Textile Magazine

I came across Malcome Lochhead in this months issue of Embroidery. He studied at the Glasgow School of Arts and schooled by Kath Whyle who was a charismatic teacher, whom he adored. His work focused initially on ecclesiastical commissions. However I particularly like his geometric three dimensional pieces that have a connection to a piece that i'm working on at the moment called "Grates".Lochhead's work has grown to embrace varying aspect of light and " individual corporate Symbolism".
