Define Work Experience

I have just finished a 2 1/2 week work placement on a film set in North Norfolk and 1300 miles later with 13 hour days I feel that I have absolutely shown my commitment to the process. Being a student of 46 I have the confidence to be happy in my own skin and feel ok in unfamiliar circumstances may be this is why I think I went so well. I knew I would be a bit of a lacky and make tea and such however it turned out that I had to do some actual work that made a difference. I ended up making a few garments for the film with even the lead actress wearing a dress that I made. I thought this is it my work here is done !! What a boost to my confidence.

There was a young girl who was very nice but found the environment difficult and she only came for a couple of days which is a shame as even though you may feel vulnerable at times this is the nature of this kind of work I which she would have stuck it out.

All in all I made some lovely friends and that time,although intensive has left me missing the bubble of them few weeks. Thank you Grace Snell costume designer for the opportunity.
