Colour Palette

Workshop on colour mixing with Procion dyes.

We started of with a true colour then either added more procion paste to make the colour paler (diluted) a little at a time or added black a little at a time to make it darker. We printed with the dye at each stage.

3g - 100g of print paste = strong colour

0.5g - 100g of print paste = pale colour

Procion dye will only last a day at its true colour and after then will start to fade.
