Been practicing the automatism technique today with Laura. The first one you see was produced by closing my eyes and listening to the James Bond theme tune. I this it looks a little like a music sheet. The right example is by pipetting ink down the page this looks great. I had the page held up but it had a bulge on the top (unconsciously) so it held the ink for a few seconds before dripping down. Looks like balloons to me.




More mark making in the field! I went out armed with some air drying clay and took a mould from a post on St.Benedicts Street, a lovely old street in Norwich. Going to try and print with it.
